How to craft "stag" light bags

What you need:

"Stag" light bag - Version 1

List of materials

Lantern sheet, white Pencil, Scissors, Power adhesive, Chain of lights, Pitt Artist Pen Brush 170, Pitt Artist Pen Calligraphy black, Pitt Artist Pen "S" black

Step 1

Print out template at 100 % of actual size. Lay lantern sheet on template and trace the outline of the cut-out with a pencil. The paint the outline of the stag with Pitt Artist Pen Brush 170. Trace the writing with Pitt Artist Pen Calligraphy black, and the fine lines of the text with Pitt Artist Pen "S" black.

Step 2

Colour in the stag with Pitt Artist Pen Brush 170. Allow all colours to dry then cut out shape of the lampshade cone.

Step 3

Turn lampshade cone to the bag and stick together above the lamps of the chain of lights using power adhesive.
Variation: A cut-out stag from the template can also be stuck to the stag area.

"Stag" light bag - Version 2

List of materials

Blank light bag, large Pencil, eraser, ruler (metal if possible), scissors, glue, Pitt Artist Pen Brush 146, 133

Step 1

Print out template at 100 % of actual size. Draw the chequered pattern with a pencil and ruler (see template for dimensions).

Step 2

Colour in the pattern with Pitt Artist Pen Brush 146.

Step 3

Roughly cut out text and lay template on the light bag. Lay graphite paper, dark side down, underneath the template sheet. Trace the letters with a pencil.

Step 4

Colour in the text with PITT artist pen brush 133.

Step 5

Cut out stag and stick it onto the bottom edge of the light bag.

Step 6

Trim off excess paper.
